MY METHOD strives to harmonize architectural form with site context, meeting sustainable requisites while prioritizing the needs of the future stakeholder, with the goal of supporting vibrant, healthy communities through design. My work showcases a fascination for the themes of low-energy construction by implementing natural materials, and for circular economy by repurposing discarded objects. This leads to an innovative approach to construction that integrates unconventional products, so expanding the potential of existing systems.
MY PORTFOLIO covers numerous fields. From small Nepali home interventions beginning with the production of Compressed Earth Blocks, to the restauration of historical Venetian palaces. From a variety of public buildings in Hamburg, New York, Beirut and Azraq to urban visions anticipating future societal and climatic needs in Paris, Barcelona and the UK. Including a project on interactive urban furniture generated via parametric design for the city of Rotterdam. Through these projects with peculiar and at times extreme characteristics, I have developed skills applicable to briefs with unique aspects, always maintaining a problem-solving mindset. For presentations, I focus on refined graphic clarity to enhance each project's unique character. The visuals, from thoughtfully crafted collages as a mean of exploration of the initial project state, to clear plans and sections and evocative renders, aim to help clients envision their future inhabitation of the design in its proposed aesthetics.
MY EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL PATH, spanning world-leading institutions and award-winning offices, reflects my commitment to growth and skill development across different project scales. Applying theoretical knowledge to practical challenges, I strive to address complex spatial issues with efficiency and innovation. This results in a body of work rooted in a solid research method and dynamic creative collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Above all, I believe in the importance of the architect to engage in a sensitive dialogue with the stakeholder at the heart of each project, ensuring that designs securely connect to individuals, to communities, and to the surroundings. Other customer-oriented professional experiences have allowed me to refine this crucial aspect of my method.

Lead urban designer for two urban projects of approximately 100,000m2 and 150,000 m2 in the Zeeland region, developing urban visions that emphasize residents’ consultation and nature-based solutions to meet the ambitious 2030 Dutch housing goals. Architectural designer for a commercial theater in Belgium, creating flexible, multipurpose spaces. Furniture and logo designer for two sports centers in the Limburg region. Pursuing the BEP route to achieve the European Architect title.
FREELANCE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER, FRANCESCA GUARNIERI ARCHITECTURE, ITALY + NETHERLANDS (2022 - ongoing)
Interior designer for the renovation of private apartments in Italy, using locally sourced, affordable materials yet with an elegant finish. Architectural designer of FCHomes as a reaction to the housing shortage and environmental uncertainties the Netherlands is facing, testing the possibilities of Dutch building codes. Operator of this venture based on generative technologies that balance intuitive design solutions, insightful in spatial and materials behaviours, with streamlined careful technical execution, where key is to tackle challenges independently while also fostering constructive collaborations.
Architectural and technical designer for the first modular C-Home, modular building system built entirely from reclaimed shipping containers in half the time of normal construction methods bringing together design-forward and sustainable practices, including plans layout and technical systems design and executive construction drawings drafting. Architectural and visual designer for the ephemeral Kid Amnesia exhibition building, including plans variants design and presentation of the proposal to the client Radiohead. Concept developer for the architectural extension and the urban plan of the Estación Barcelona Sants competition entry, also including building survey analysis, 3D volumetric studies, plans development, management of new team members and presentation to collaborating firms. Urban designer for the new proposal of the Clichy Metro Station square, also including model-making of facade panels prototypes and drafting of executive detail drawings. Product designer for the facade panelling of the Plateau Central apartment and market building, including product research and team management.
Interiors designer of space-effective solutions for the renovation of historical Venetian palaces also including production of quantity surveys & building permit applications. Landscape designer for the exteriors of a lakeside restaurant including renders and collages for materials selection with clients. Drafter of executive construction drawings for modern greenhouse and barn as extension of a venetian palace also collaborating with contractors on-site.
